About Perlerbeads Studio
Pattern editor, bead gallery, tutorials, and perler bead tools — all in one place
Anything can be made with perler beads
It starts with a single bead
Every finished perler piece starts with a simple idea — and a lot of tiny beads. Perlerbeads Studio is here to make that journey feel a little lighter: open your browser, start making, no account needed. There's something genuinely calming about placing beads one by one — the grid fills slowly, the outside world quiets down, and for a while your only job is picking the next color. We built this to make room for that feeling. If you want to share what you've made or connect with others, an account is always there. If you just want to make things in peace, that's perfectly fine too.
What you can do here
Turn any image into a bead grid, or draw from a blank canvas at your own pace. Tracing something you love? Overlay a reference image and adjust the opacity while you work — it makes the whole process feel much more relaxed. Keyboard shortcuts are there when you're ready for them, and patterns export as print-ready grids with full bead counts so you can go straight to making. The gallery has ready-made patterns across lots of themes — grab one to get started, or share your own and see what resonates. The blog has beginner guides, color tips, and craft stories for whenever you feel like reading a little.
There's more we'd love to build
Pattern generation is where we started, and there's so much more around perler beads that deserves a good home. We're slowly gathering the tools, tutorials, and community that make this hobby more joyful — no rush, but always moving. If it helps someone who loves making things with tiny colored beads, it's worth building.
What we care about
Whether you've just opened your first bag of beads or you've been doing this for years — come on in. Share whatever's on your mind, we're listening.
Everything we do circles back to perler beads and pixel art. Keeping that focus is what lets us go deeper and do it better.
If something doesn't work, say so — that's really helpful. If you can also suggest how it might be better, that's even more appreciated.
We're a small team that genuinely loves what we're building. Updates come thoughtfully, replies can take a while — but nothing ever goes unread.
Made by people who've actually done it
Every piece of writing here comes from someone who's sat down with a pegboard and worked through the hard parts — who's melted something, fixed it, and kept going until it looked right. They write what they know because they've spent enough time with it to really know it.
